This transformation not only frees up office space across the city to support future economic development, but also contributes to the continued vibrancy and growth of Columbia’s downtown Main Street District.

  • Renovations began in 2024 and are expected to be substantially complete by the end of 2025.

  • Current Phase / Milestones: The project is being renovated floor by floor. While each floor is at a different stage, overall construction is progressing steadily, with completion targeted for January 2026.

  • Estimated Project Cost: $49.5 million

  • Funding Sources: Installment Purchase Revenue Bonds (IPRBs) issued in 2021 and 2025, along with some funding from the Water & Sewer System
